With the reveal of the all-new next-gen Ford F-150 just days away, the rumor mill continues to churn out tidbits of information about the popular truck. First, we heard it was going to drop 750 pounds thanks to the extensive use of aluminum. Now, the word on the street is that a new 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 will be offered alongside the model's current 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and Ford's naturally-aspirated V6 and V8.

By utilizing asymmetrical turbos, the new V6 is said to generate 320 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque, which is a decent jump on the current 3.7-liter's 302 hp and 278 lb-ft. Internally dubbed the "Nano," the new EcoBoost will also offer better economy and reduced emissions.
