Known internally as the S550, the sixth-generation Ford Mustang has what it takes to be one of the hottest cars of 2014. It's going to be aggressive, streamlined, with styling cues taken from the Evos concept and the current model. To broaden its appeal, Ford has taken a knife to the current model's retro styling and created a sports car that will appeal to the masses. After all, it plans to sell the 2015 Stang across the globe as the carmaker's 'One Ford' policy kicks in.

Improved performance and handling is guaranteed thanks to a brand-new lightweight platform with independent rear suspension, while under the hood the 5.0-liter V8 and base V6 will be joined by a new 2.3-liter turbo-four to satiate the needs of buyers in markets where fuel is expensive.
