The Jeep bros can relate.
Everyone knew that the new Ford Bronco was going to be a sales success, and as this badass Ford continues to steal sales from Jeep (despite a recent price hike), owners are looking to make their Bronco's stand out from the crowd. The aftermarket tuning scene for this SUV is exploding, and we've seen many awesome versions make an appearance at shows like SEMA, but what if you're on a budget, but want to make a big statement? Enter the Bronco Grumper, a new front bumper design by Fab Fours that turns the Ford Bronco into a grumpy-looking grouch. We've seen this style on the Jeep Wrangler, and it was only a matter of time before it hit the Ford scene.
Josiah Martin, a member of the Bronco6x Facebook group and a designer for Fab Fours recently posted about the upcoming product and had the following to say: "I know this is a polarizing product and I'm sure there will be a good deal of comments below telling me to burn it with fire. There is normally no middle ground with Grumpers, you love them or you hate them. When I set out to design the Bronco Grumper I wanted to make it as clean and seamless as possible while at the same time being completely utilitarian. I love the Bronco platform and the Bronco community so I hope I made you guys proud even if it's not for everyone."
The post is followed by the specs of the new bumper. This 3/16" bumper shell features integrated recovery points, an 11 gauge grille with a drop in three-pod light mount and grille mesh, and the bumper hold can accommodate four Rigid SR Pro Series pods. The grille drop can hold 3x4-inch round lights or 3x3-inch pods. The bumper has been designed to fit a Warn EVO 10 winch while still retaining its parking sensor and adaptive cruise control functionality. The front camera is relocated within the bumper, and you can relocate your OEM grille letters. This bumper gives the Bronco an angry-looking face that won't be for everyone, but at least it's functional. Official prices have not been released, but we expect a price between $1,500 and $2,000 judging by Fab Fours' other offerings.
