Ahead of the car's impending launch, a date that has yet to be confirmed, Bentley has decided to release some new photos of both the new V8 Continental GT & GTC. There's no confirmation of the price in the US, but in the UK it will have a base price of £123,850 and in Europe the price tag's 136,000 Euros. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, rated at 500hp and 487lb-ft of torque, powers the Continental range's entry level models.

According to Bentley, the V8 is 40 percent more fuel efficient than the 6.0-liter W12 flagship model; the result is that V8 Continentals can travel over 500 miles on a single tank of fuel. Standstill to 62mph is timed at 4.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 188mph. A slightly modified exterior is what distinguishes the V8 from its W12 big brother, including a glossy black grille with chrome and center bar, a black mesh three-segment front bumper fascia and a red enamel Bentley 'B' badge.
