After undergoing winter testing in grueling snow conditions in Sweden, prototype testing of the upcoming Jaguar XF has hit the road. Our spy photographers have snapped some new photos of the Jaguar XF Sedan and Jaguar XF Sportbrake wagon being put through their paces, previewing the styling changes we can expect to see when the production model debuts.

Sharper headlights, a new front bumper, and a redesigned grille will give the Jaguar XF a fresher look. At the back, the bumper and rear light graphics will also be changed to match the facelifted Jaguar XE.

Our spies were unable to snap any photos of the cabin, but the interior is expected to get some significant upgrades. These include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a new infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a new steering wheel design, and more premium quality materials.

The current Jaguar XF is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 gasoline engine rated at 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the more powerful S version utilizes a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 producing 380 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. We're expecting the V6 unit to be replaced with Jaguar Land Rover's 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine, which is paired with a mild-hybrid system to produce 395 hp in other models.

A debut date hasn't been announced yet, but the updated Jaguar XF is expected to arrive later this year. In the meantime, now is a good time to buy a 2020 Jaguar XF, as CarsDirect has discovered the luxury sedan has received some significant discounts to help Jaguar clear stock in preparation for the upcoming facelift model's arrival.

The V6 model's starting price has been slashed by $11,000, which is a huge saving considering the 2020 Jaguar XF starts at $68,200. Only V6 versions are eligible for the largest discount, but the four-cylinder turbo model is being offered with a $9,000 discount, which is still a massive price reduction.

Alternatively, Jaguar is also offering 0% financing for 72 months.
