A leaked spec sheet recently revealed the Macan Turbo will deliver 400 hp from its 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6, so it's not overly surprising to hear Porsche say the chassis of its upcoming new model will have a sporty tune. And to prove the point ahead of the SUV's unveiling at the LA Auto Show, Porsche has released this video of the Macan being tested at the R&D center in Weissach. Along with the Turbo variant, Porsche will offer the Macan S with a 340-hp 3.0-liter V6 and an S Diesel with 258-hp and 428 lb-ft of torque.

With stereotypically German electronic dance music in the background, watch as the Macan is flogged around the track and look forward to finally seeing the car in the metal next week.
