It's taken them a while, but Carlsson has finally gotten around to upgrading the facelifted Mercedes E-Class. There's no lavish gold treatment here, just a few understated body parts including a new front spoiler, revised side skirts, rear bumper with "RS style" diffuser, a rear spoiler, a sports exhaust system, an assortment of wheel designs and a range of suspension upgrades including lowering springs take the E-Class 30 mm closer to the road.

Carlsson also offers adjustable coil-over suspension that lowers the front by 15-35 mm and the rear by 20 mm, and an Airmatic suspension that reduces height by 30 mm. The interior receives a leather and Alcantara overhaul with a choice of wood, aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, with optional extras including illuminated sill plates and alloy pedals. Performance upgrades range from the CK40 package that ups the E400 to 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque to the CK50 pack that adds an optimized ECU and sports air filter to boost the E500's twin-turbo V8 to 523 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque. Performance enhancements are also available for the diesel units.
