Vanquish Coupe

It'd be easy to mistake the new Vanquish for one of its predecessors. After all, Aston Martin applies the same design language to a whole range of two-door, front-engined GTs. But make no mistake about it, the Vanquish is a new machine.

Sure, it may be based on the same platform and use an evolution of the same 6.0-liter V12 engine that has powered every Aston (save for the aforementioned Cygnet, the V8 Vantage and the One-77) for the past several years. But that engine has been returned to deliver 565 horsepower, its interior has been brought up to date and then some, and it's all been clothed in a fresh sheet of carbon fiber. The result looks stunning, but you don't have to take our word for it: Aston has released a whole new set of photos and this video clip to prove the point. Have a look and see for yourself.
