The British automaker announces its newest addition.
Rolls-Royce has kind of, sort of, just revealed its newest car. Okay, so there weren't any photos or renderings shown, but the company did say its new convertible will be called Dawn. The announcement was made at the annual Rolls-Royce dealer conference held in Los Angeles. Those with a deep knowledge of the British automaker's history will know that Dawn refers to the Silver Dawn, a Rolls made from 1949-1954. However, only 28 convertible Silver Dawns were made, making the car a true rarity.
So the new Rolls-Royce has a name and a source of inspiration but nothing else. We've seen tons of spy shots of what looks to be a convertible Wraith testing, so that could be your winner in terms of looks. More information should leak out soon as the Dawn will launch in the first quarter of 2016.
