A possible new Tesla model wearing heavy camouflage has been spotted conducting an early testing routine courtesy of Twitter user @Predict_Cars. We could well be looking at the previously hinted sub-Tesla Model 3 compact EV despite no preview model being shown to us. Based on previous quotes, this new entry-level model, which initially had a promised starting price of $25,000, has been delayed several times due to the manufacturer being too busy, but Musk himself promised that it would be released eventually.

What's become obvious is that if you want a new Tesla model, you are going to have to be patient. Both the Cybertruck and Roadster were first unveiled to us years ago with promised launch dates that have both passed.

Given how the automotive world is still under pressure following the pandemic and ongoing chip shortage crisis, delays are even more understandable. While we patiently wait for the two aforementioned highly anticipated EVs, a third new model appears to be in the development stage.

Of course, there is also a very strong possibility that this could be a car from another manufacturer altogether. The aforementioned Tesla was said to be smaller than the current Model 3, but the camouflaged car seen here looks a bit too big and resembles the same body style as the brand's current entry-level option.

The spy shot was captured somewhere in Belgium. While Tesla does not have a production facility in the area, it's not a million miles away from its gigafactory in Berlin. But without any official information from the brand or more distinctive images of the test unit, all we can do for now is speculate.

One product that is finally heading to production is the Tesla Semi Truck which will be the brand's first venture into commercial vehicles. While one model has already been spotted broken down on the side of the road, the brand is insistent that it will be a successful model line with its goal to assemble 50,000 units by 2024.
