Toyota has been having a great year so far, hitting record sales figures in the first quarter, and its range of sports cars, including the GR86, GR Supra. And GR Corolla are taking the automotive world by storm. The Toyota GR86 is doing especially well, and is sold out in many international markets. This rear-wheel-drive no-nonsense sports car is back in 2022 with more power and more dynamic ability, and we're already seeing special editions pop up. Back in April, we learned that Toyota will be bringing out a 10th anniversary GR86 in 2023, and now we've received word of two more special editions, only these ones are exclusively available in Spain, and it has us seeing green.

The Toyota GR86 is sold in Spain as the Toyota GR86 RZ; the only trim offering at the moment, which features a manual transmission, 17-inch wheels with Michelin Primacy tires, and a cloth interior. Unfortunately for Spanish customers, the GR86 will not be offered with an Alcantara interior, heated seats, or alloy pedals, but instead, they will be offered two special editions: the Touring Pack and the Circuit Pack. The Touring Pack is priced at 35,400 euros (around $37,500) and features Gazoo Racing high friction brake pads, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (225/40 R18) and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Circuit Pack is slightly more hardcore and, for 37,900 euros ($40,600), gets you racing brakes with larger calipers and discs, Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (225/40 R18), and 18-inch forged wheels.

Both special edition cars are offered in Crystal White Pearl, Ignition Red, and Crystal Black Silica. Toyota Spain has ordered 100 of these special packages, with another 500 expected to enter the market by 2024, at which time sales of the GR86 will come to an end in that country due to tighter emissions regulations. We might not be getting the Touring and Circuit packages stateside, but we have a massive aftermarket tuning industry that will come up with something even better and cheaper.
