This year's New York Auto Show marks six years since Jeep introduced the first Grand Cherokee SRT8 to the public. The SRT8 was so popular that even as soon as the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was announced, everyone stood by waiting to see if there would be another SRT8. The all-new 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 comes with a lowered suspension, larger wheels, monochrome exterior, and the same Hemi V8 under the hood.

One key difference is that the center-mount exhaust has been replaced with tailpipes splayed to the edges of the rear end. The 2012 also gets a hood with two large waterfall scoops that will work to increase airflow. Additionally, it will get a body-colored grille and a stretched front fascia that brings the truck's nose closer to the pavement. Jeep still hasn't released the price, but it will probably be close to last year's $44,105 price tag.
