New York 2011: North American 2012 Kia Rio

Kia introduced the Chinese-market K2 recently at the Shanghai Auto Show, and now they have given us the K2's mechanical sibling, the Rio. The new Rio is longer, lower and wider than the previous generation, and while the model has come a long way in the looks department, it still somewhat resembles a grinning jellybean. The new model is also lighter and is now powered by a 135hp 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder. Not bad for a cheap car.
