It's been on our radar for some time now, and with the Lamborghini Huracan finding its way to customers across the globe, it's time for Audi to prepare the next-generation R8 that will be built on the same platform as its Italian cousin. Spy shots have previously given us some indication of what to expect of the upcoming four rings flagship, and now rendering artist RM Design has provided a fresh interpretation of the supercar. Styling cues from the 2015 Audi TT are apparent along with an aggressive front fascia and hexagonal grille.

The next-gen R8 is also expected to sport shorter side blades, a Le Mans-inspired double diffuser, with power coming from a 450-hp 4.2-liter V8 and 5.2-liter V10 rated at 570 hp.
