Mercedes prepares its new hi-po 500-hp wagon.
Last week it was the next-gen C-Class AMG, and now our spy photographers have managed to catch its hi-po wagon sibling being put through its paces. Mercedes is going to give the new C-Class T some more aggression, to match the 450-500 horsepower generated from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Styling elements shared with the sedan spied winter testing include the larger front air dam, quad exhausts, and a lower ride height.
It also boasts a single bar grille, rear spoiler on the roof, modified bumpers, high-performance brakes and revised side skirts. Despite the engine change, the C63 moniker is expected to carry over as it’s too valuable to let go of. The C63 sedan will debut early next year, with the wagon to follow sometime thereafter.
