Next-Generation 2015 BMW 7 Series Captured in the Metal

Looks ready to roll.

These images of the next-generation BMW 7 Series have emerged online, revealing the upcoming flagship sedan will come with a prominent grille and smaller headlights, as well as a front bumper with a new lower section, mimicking that on the facelifted BMW 6 Series. An evolutionary back end reveals a new set of taillights separated by chrome trim, again looking awfully similar to the refreshed 6er, while the interior will boast a new touchscreen infotainment system for driver and front passenger.

Power will range from a 260-hp 2.0-liter four-pot in the base 730i to a 6.6-liter V12 good for around 600 horses in the 760i, while diesels and plug-in hybrids will also be available. The new BMW 7 Series is still strongly tipped to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show but don't be surprised if it turns up in Geneva in March.
