"NFS" Mustang to be NASCAR Pace Car

And it's got 900 horsepower.

The "Need for Speed" video game franchise will hit the silver screen this March, and the biggest star of the film will turn out to be this one-off Ford Mustang. The 900 hp Mustang was built specifically for the film by Ford Racing and not some Hollywood prop shop. It’s powered by an all-aluminum supercharged V8, and it will be used as the pace car this upcoming weekend for the Ford EcoBoost 400 season finale NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway, driven by the film’s star Ramon Rodriguez.

Along with that massive engine, this Mustang features bespoke 22-inch alloys, a wide body kit and larger intakes. Video game players will have the chance to "drive" this Stang if they play the latest version of the video game called "Need for Speed: Rivals."
