Hollywood stunt coordinator Lance Gilbert has over 100 credits to his name and is a third-generation stunt man with his granddad Mickey involved in the epic Ben Hur. While the chariot racing scenes in the 1959 flick are pretty awesome, the upcoming Need for Speed movie will have some special chase scenes of its own. One particular stunt, involving a Koenigsegg flipping out and exploding on a bridge, is the focus of this mini documentary.

Understandably, the director had assumed the stunt would have to be done using CGI. Lance had other ideas, and what you'll see now is how the stunt master pulled it off with real cars.
