Most enthusiasts know Nismo as Nissan's performance division, responsible for track-focused vehicles like the GT-R Nismo. However, Nismo is also responsible for adding a bit of performance and attitude to Nissan's truck lineup. At the 2021 Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona, Nismo will reveal new off-road parts for the 2022 Nissan Frontier.

These parts range in price and functionality, for hardcore off-road enthusiasts and casual truck owners alike. All of the Nismo upgrades revealed last year will still be available, like an off-road suspension kit, bumpers, lighting, and wheels. As before, the parts can be purchased through Nissan dealers, select Nismo retailers, or online.

The full parts list is extensive, but Nissan has highlighted a few standouts that will be at the expo. We particularly like the Off Road Overland Bed Rack, which is available in low and high versions; the high version is available now, while the low version won't be available until next year. The rack is made of powder-coated steel with a modular design to suit multiple uses.

Using this bed rack or a roof rack, you can mount Nismo's new Roof Top Tent. Nissan says the tent offers comfortable accommodations for two people with a wall-to-wall mattress, washable cover, and three ventilation windows. The tent weighs around 132 pounds and can hold up to 600 pounds.

Off-road enthusiasts who like to go camping at night will enjoy Nismo's latest Off Road 4-inch Lights. They deliver a 3,060-lumen output without drawing too heavily on the electrical system. Not only will these lights fit on the Frontier, but the Pathfinder and Xterra as well. Finally, Nismo will offer a cat-back exhaust system for the Frontier's 3.8-liter V6 engine. Nismo says the exhaust will offer a deeper tone without excessive droning. As a bonus, the exhaust will fit the Titan, Titan XD, Pathfinder, and Xterra.

"The all-new 2022 Frontier provides adventurers with an authentic midsize truck built to thrive in off-road and overlanding environments," said Michael Soutter, vice president, Nissan Aftersales US. "The thousands of overlanding enthusiasts at Overland Expo West will see first-hand how these new Nismo Off Road parts can help elevate Frontier to an even higher level of style and capability - and we can't wait to see them on the trail soon."
