Nissan has confirmed that a hotter Juke Nismo is on the cards, tipped to be badged the Juke Nismo RC when it hits showrooms before the end of the year. The Juke Nismo's 1.6-liter turbo will be tweaked to deliver around 218 horsepower, a bump of around 20 horses compared to the stock Nismo, while torque will see a 20 percent increase to around 220 lb-ft. Suspension will be stiffened by a further ten percent with different springs, shocks and damping rates. The new Nismo will also be lowered by 20mm.

They'll be bigger brakes, a new intake, a throatier sounding exhaust, and like the standard Nismo, will come with front- or four-wheel drive. The former being paired to a six-speed manual, the latter to a CVT automatic. The Nismo range is set for further expansion with a more hardcore 370Z, the Nissan 370Z Nismo, which will also provide more power, a revised chassis and specific body mods.
