This coming Thursday, February 4, Nissan is set to reveal an all-new Pathfinder SUV and the next stage of the Nissan Frontier truck's redesign. The Frontier already has a new powertrain from last year, and we're waiting for the rest of the redesign that will include a new look and, judging from this new teaser trailer, an aggressive PRO-4x off-road trim.

Like the Pathfinder teaser Nissan showed last week, the Frontier in this video is hurtling down a dirt track and showing off its new upright and aggressive-looking grille. That falls in line with Nissan's new design language for trucks and SUVs, and we most recently saw that with the refreshed Armada.

The Frontier truck's changes started last year with its new V6 engine, which gave it an upgrade in power by 49 horsepower to 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque. It's also mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission rather than the outdated five-speed and the stick shift manual is now discontinued.

The teaser is just six seconds long, so there's not a lot draw on other than the new off-road trim. The grille is all blacked-out with a thick criss-cross pattern split by two bars, and we can see the new Nissan badge is placed higher and not dead-center. In all likelihood, this will be exclusive in design to the PRO-4X trim.

We also see a glossy black wheel with silver accents wrapped in off-road rubber and featuring the sharp new red Nissan off-road trim badge. There's also a quick glimpse of the Frontier's new LED taillights and sharper looking rear fender. The shot of the cab gives nothing away, and no doubt that's by design. We've seen what the standard truck will look like, but we're really going to have to wait for February 4's reveal to find out more and get a good look at the new truck and its new off-road trim.
