It's lifted and ready for action.
The Nissan GT-R has been one of the most successful sports cars in the history of the Japanese automaker and is loved by millions across the globe. With stonking turbo performance and tons of grip from its all-wheel-drive system, the GT-R has been described as handling like an arcade racer. It is a serious sports car by any measure, and tuners have fallen in love with it for its massive performance capability. We've seen some wild creations, including a Nissan pickup truck with the heart of a GT-R, and it's fair to say that the GT-R is one of the most popular tuning platforms out there.
So what do you do to a car that has seen all forms of modification over the years? Well, you do something different of course! Tuning shop Classic Youngtimers Consultancy has taken a perfectly fine GT-R and turned it into a super rally car. This comes after Youngtimers converted a Bentley Continental GT and Lamborghini Gallardo into off-roading beasts.
So let's take a closer look at this dirt-munching monster, starting with the exterior, which is at the receiving end of an upgraded suspension system resulting in an increased ride height of 4.72 inches (12 centimeters). The wheel arches were then flared to accommodate a set of massive off-road tires. The camo wrap works perfectly with the testosterone-fueled exterior changes. Further additions include a roof-mounted spare wheel that looks like something out of the Baja races, and what would an adventure car be without a massive LED light bar fitted above the windshield, as well as a set of LED spotlights fitted to the bumper.
"Both cause an enormous high-beam peak intensity, so don't be surprised when a stealth fighter is trying to land on your custom built sportscar," says the description on the Classic Youngtimers website.
Finally, we get to the engine, which has seen its fair share of upgrades. The twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine now produces a potent 600 horsepower. Nissan claims a sprint time from zero to sixty within 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph. Can you imagine doing those speeds in this thing?
The best news is the fact that you could own this crazy creation. Classic Youngtimers Consultancy, based in the Netherlands has put this GT-R up for sale at a price of 95,000 Euros (around $107,000 at today's rate). The car comes with a full-service history and only 28,894 miles on the odometer. Go on, treat yourself.
