If there ever was a car searching for an identity, the 2010 Nissan Maxima would be the one. Torn between being labeled a sports car and a family car, the Maxima is a good bargain for those looking for a sedan that's just a bit sporty. The model was just redesigned last year, so everything just carried over. The 2010 Maxima is available in a base 3.5S, or the upscale 3.5 SV model.
The exterior has styling cues from Nissan's sports car line that evokes sporty pretentions. Inside, there's plenty of space and a nice list of features. The materials are a mixture of cheap and quality, and the driver's seat is hard to adjust. Along with the driver's seat problem, the 2011 Maxima also provides less cargo space than its predecessor.
