May or may not be the basis for the US Frontier.
Nissan has just released a teaser image for its upcomingmidsize pickup truck, probably a redesigned version of its Navara global truck, which has been identical to the US market Frontier in recent years. TheFrontier, which battles American midsize trucks like the GMC Canyon andChevrolet Colorado, has been on the market in its current guise since 2005, andis way overdue for a redesign. However, it is not yet clear whether the teaserimage relates to the US-spec Frontier or the global Navara.
Before the Frontier debuts, Nissan is expected to unveil thefull-size Titan pickup at next year’s Detroit Auto Show, replacing the currentgeneration - America’s worst-selling pickup.
