All the benefits of a custom truck plus a warranty.
The paint has barely dried from Nissan's reveal of the Ultimate Work Titan at the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. That truck already impressed people with its functionality and Nissan's generosity for donating it to Habitat for Humanity but the Japanese automaker isn't done yet. Nissan is now revealing four new trucks in Indianapolis based on the Titan, Titan XD, Frontier, and Armada.
A recent survey showed 39 percent of all truck owners in the US customize or modify their truck in some way and 49 percent of the segment is composed of enthusiasts. To this end, Nissan has partnered with custom truck builder Rocky Ridge Trucks to offer turnkey truck packages available through dealerships.
Being turnkey, these trucks will be purchasable through Nissan's dealer network and can be financed through Nissan's financial arm. Rocky Ridge has more than 30 years of experience as a custom truck and SUV builder, so the company is able to match Nissan's five-year / 100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Even though truck buyers are the most brand loyal in any automotive segment, a study showed 80 percent of buyers still consider more than one truck brand. Nissan would love to be the 'other' truck brand buyers consider.
"Truck buyers are unique and so are their trucks. And while truck buyers are the most brand loyal automotive segment, consumers are willing to consider other brands if the product and value proposition is right," said Fred DePerez, the vice president of Nissan North America's North America LCV Business Unit. "We've found there remains great opportunity within the truck and enthusiast market and these big, bad, custom-lifted, Rocky Ridge-warranted Nissan trucks are definitely going to drive excitement and traffic to Nissan showrooms for a closer look."
The Rocky Ridge packages feature custom exterior and interior performance/luxury modifications. The options include the Titan XD (gas and diesel) Stealth, K2, and Altitude packages, Titan K2, Altitude, and X packages, and Frontier/Armada K3 Packages. All of these packages include custom suspensions designed to "stand tall." The Titan trucks feature a six-inch lift kit, the Armada and Frontier feature three-inch and 2.5-inch lifts respectively, and all trucks utilize custom wheels and off-road performance tires.
So if you are in the market to buy a custom truck but don't want to deal with the complexity of financing it, having the parts installed, or losing your warranty, these Rocky Ridge Nissan trucks may be ideal for you. The Rocky Ridge Trucks will be hitting select Nissan showrooms now, so you can go pick up one up almost immediately.
