No Hoverboards? Try this DeLorean Hovercraft

Offbeat

The world would undoubtedly be a better place with hoverboards but this DeLorean hovercraft offers a good alternative.

We've made the point time and again that 2015 is quickly approaching and a few things that "Back to the Future Part II" showcased appear not to be happening anytime soon. These include flying cars, hydrating pizzas, and of course, hoverboards. We had particularly high hopes for that last item and now one of our childhood dreams has been shattered. So what could possibly take the place of a hoverboard? This DeLorean hovercraft, that's what.

This video was recently taken at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Bay showing a DeLorean hovercraft looking just plain awesome. It's ulikely to reach 88 mph but at least you can say to yourself "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads" and be totally right.
