Beware slippery surfaces when driving near water.
This is a crappy way to start the New Year. According to local reports, the owner of this sunken Porsche Panamera 4S ended up driving his luxury sedan into a pond after the slippery surface got the better of him. The Panamera was parked at the edge of a square outside a college building in Chaozhou, Guangdong, and when the driver attempted to drive off, he lost control, plunging into the shallow water. Thankfully, the Porsche Panamera – priced at around $225,000 in China – avoided serious damage, if not the driver's embarrassment.
