It's only the quickest production Aston Martin ever made.
Chances are a car like this won’t be around for much longer. There are several reasons as to why, but when the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is gone, it’ll be gone. Forever. With its 6.0-liter V12 with 565 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, the car is actually quite small. And that’s a good thing. A very good thing. Why? For a start, top speed is 205 mph. With that much power wrapped in such a small body, performance is just outright ludicrous.
Of course there are more refined and modern competitors out there with similar price tags, but there’s something special about an Aston Martin V12. The Smoking Tire’s Matt Farah has a spot-on description of it: a Shelby Cobra with airbags. So is this one of the all-time greatest Aston Martins? Only time will tell, but we think it’s got a good chance of lasting greatness.
