The supercar tuner does it again.
You've got to be a ballsy tuning company to look at a Lamborghini Huracan or McLaren 720S and be convinced that these world-class supercars can be improved. But Novitec has made a habit out of this for the last few decades, churning out even fiercer versions of the best cars in the world.
The latest beneficiary of Novitec's prowess is none other than the gorgeous Ferrari F8 Tributo. With a 710-horsepower 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, it's not a car that tends to leave its drivers underwhelmed in any way. Nevertheless, Novitec's fettling has increased power to 787 hp, pushed the top speed to over 211 mph, and endowed the F8 with an even fruitier exhaust note.
The Novitec N-Tronic control modules change up the V8's mapping while also adjusting the electronic boost pressure control. This adds both more power and torque, with the latter figure increasing from 568 to 651 lb-ft. The 0-62 mph sprint takes only 2.7 seconds and Novitec promises sharper throttle response. The F8's stock V8 sounds about as good as any turbo, but Novitec's high-performance exhaust system adds an even more engaging soundtrack which you can listen to in the video below.
The more aggressive stance is thanks to the fitment of sport springs which lower the ride height by almost 1.4 inches, plus 21/22-inch staggered forged wheels developed with Vossen. Over 70 - yes, seventy - different colors are available for these wheels which are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Novitec's front lift system can raise the front-end of the F8 by over 1.5 inches, improving the daily use of the supercar. The tuner is also busy designing bodywork components that will beef up the styling and further enhance the Ferrari's aerodynamics. The interior, meanwhile, can be extensively customized in a combination of leather and Alcantara with a wide color palette to choose from.
While some may prefer to wait around for Novitec's aero kit, the F8 Tributo is already a thing of visual perfection. With improved power and a more unruly exhaust note, the upgrades have made an already phenomenal supercar even better.
