For as much as many Americans have been prompted to tighten their purse strings as the novel coronavirus outbreak takes its toll on the US economy, now might be a great time to get into a high-performance Roush-modified Ford Mustang - if you have the means. Now through March 31st, Ford Credit is offering 0% financing for up to 84 months on select 2019 Roush Mustang models - an uncommonly generous loan that charges no interest for a full seven years.

Granted, not every vehicle qualifies, and you'll almost certainly need absolutely stellar credit to qualify, but it still represents a fantastic deal - for the next few days, anyway.

Roush Performance is perhaps the most trusted name when it comes to Ford Mustang tuning, with a reputation for engineering excellence that stems in part from its status as an original equipment supplier to Ford Motor Company. The Roush name is also revered in the world of NASCAR stock car racing, where Roush Fenway Racing has become an institution.

Roush Performance leverages this expertise to create exceptional high-performance versions of the factory Ford Mustang, with packages running the gamut from modest aerodynamic and exhaust tweaks to the supercharged 710-horsepower Roush Mustang Stage 3.

New for 2020, there's also the limited-run, 775-horsepower Jack Roush Edition Ford Mustang. But that one doesn't qualify for 0% financing for 84 months, sadly.

Ford Credit's generous financing offer comes just as the first financial quarter of 2020 comes to a close, leaving automakers desperate to accumulate as many additional sales as possible and end a fraught quarter on a positive note. Automakers have struggled as the recent COVID-19 outbreak has contributed to declining consumer confidence, layoffs, business closures, and production scarcity. Ford, like the majority of its competitors, has been forced to temporarily shutter factories and pause production on a number of models.
