Track days are all well and good, but it's always better if you have exclusive access to the racing circuit, and especially so if the venue in question is one of the finest motorsport venues in the world. So, when a close associate owns up to 99 percent of the Nurburgring, it's obvious that you'd take up any offer to have a private session at the fabled raceway - as the Russian billionaire and Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich and some of his close colleagues handily demonstrate in this instance.

Organized by Big Garage Nurburgring, a 'drive one of our sports cars around the Ring' rental company based at the fabled German motorsports complex, the event was hosted exclusively for Mr. Abramovich, Victor Kharitonin (the majority owner of the Nurburgring) and other colleagues.

As you can probably deduce from the above video, the Russian businessmen didn't feel it necessary to use Big Garage Nurburgring's impressive sports car stable. Which is understandable, when the fleet of cars being brought along include (but aren't limited to) a pair of GT3 racing cars, a Bugatti Veyron, an Aston Martin Vulcan and a Pagani Zonda R. Envy may be one of the seven deadly sins, but it's impossible to not be jealous of what must have been for Abramovich, Kharitonin and company a truly fantastic experience in some equally amazing supercars.
