But the Texas-based Hennessey also performs upgrades for SUVs, like the Escalade, as well as pickup trucks. Yes, trucks. One example is this: the 2014 HPE500 Supercharged GMC Sierra. Power comes from a 5.3-liter V8 that now produces over 500 horsepower.

Along with the supercharger, this was accomplished thanks to a high flow intercooling system and engine management calibration. There are also the typical Hennessey badges throughout. And yes, it sounds awesome on the dyno.
