As if the BMW 3-series wasn't affluent enough, the current 3-Series Coupe and Convertible will be available in Edition Exclusive and M Sport Edition trims. For the first time since the BMW 3-Series Convertible, a BMW Individual hardtop will be available with a contrasting paint finish. This BMW 3-Series Convertible, however, will feature either a Black or Titanium Silver metallic roof, which can be combined with a total of 15 different body paint finishes.

This is also available with the M Sport package and the M3 convertible. Both editions are uniquely elegant yet differ in respect to showcasing the sophisticated or dynamic side of the car. The Edition Exclusive is equipped with such features as Space Gray 18-inch V-spoke light-alloy wheels, exclusive Mineral Gray exterior paint (optional), exterior mirror caps decked in Oxide Silver, floor mats with color coordinated piping, interior trim strips in Bamboo Grain Anthracite and Dakota leather interior in a choice of two unique shades.

The M Sport Edition sports an exclusive Silverstone paint finish, 18-inch Ferric Gray light-alloy wheels in a double spoke design, black-painted exterior mirrors, a rear apron with integrated sports diffuser and an optional M rear spoiler. This edition also boasts sports seats with M detailing, M sports steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and Dakota leather seat covers with blue contrast stitching. The BMW 3-Series Coupe and Convertible with the Edition Exclusive and M Sport Edition will be available beginning this fall and both will feature BMW's new Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) in the BMW ConnectedDrive.

No official pricing has been released nor has there been an indication as to which markets these trims will be available.
