Official: Ford Bronco Everglades Reveal Happening Tomorrow

Snorkel? Check. Winch? Oh yeah.

It's finally happening. The latest chapter of the reborn Ford Bronco will officially be revealed tomorrow at the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. Ford CEO Jim Farley has just shared a short but somewhat revealing teaser trailer on Twitter showing the Bronco Everglades with its front winch pulling what appears to be a boat in a swamp. Based on previous spy shots, we already knew the Everglades was getting a big ol' snorkel, which is visible on the front passenger side A-pillar in this teaser from the bird's eye view.

"Challenge: design a Ford Bronco that can go even deeper in the wild for the most extreme adventures. Solution: Bronco Everglades. Tune-in tomorrow." It doesn't get any clearer than that.

Additional details are still being kept under lock and key at this time. Previous reports indicate the Everglades will come standard issue with the Sasquatch Package, which makes complete sense. What we're particularly curious about is what earlier spy shots have not shown, mainly what's under the hood and expected suspension upgrades.

In all likelihood, the Everglades will come powered by the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that's good for 310 horsepower though we won't rule out the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 found in the also recently-revealed 400 hp+ Bronco Raptor. There's also a very good chance the Everglades will only be available in the four-door body style.

Pricing is another matter. The Bronco Raptor begins at just under $70,000 while a fully-loaded Bronco will set you back by about $64,000. Chances are the Everglades will come in somewhere in the middle. Like for all new Broncos, demand for the Everglades is expected to be high, so hopefully is prepared for the expected onslaught of buyers.

In any case, all of our questions will be answered tomorrow when the muddy sheets are finally ripped off the 2023 Bronco Everglades. The wait is (finally!) just about over.
