Finally, it's happening. The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor will officially debut this Monday, January 24 at 6 a.m. EST. The news comes from Ford itself on its official Facebook page. "Built Wild to the Extreme. Monday. 6 AM EST." is all that the caption has to say. Our advice: wake up a little earlier than usual Monday morning. It'll be worth it.

Ford is still keeping key Bronco Raptor details a closely-guarded secret but past spy shots and videos indicate it's going to be one wild ride. Core elements have been enhanced over the standard Bronco and its famed Sasquatch Package. Expect the Bronco Raptor to boast an even higher ride height, more prominent fender flares, and bigger wheels and tires.

We also couldn't help but notice that none of those photos were that of a two-door body style. Chances are this ultra-hardcore SUV will be a four-door only. The interior is also due for a number of upgrades, such as a new digital tachometer, paddle shifters on both sides of the steering column, and plenty of red accents such as around the gear shifter knob, stitching, and vents.

Still a mystery is what's under the hood. There are two very clear possibilities: a twin-turbo V6 displacing either 3.0 or 3.5-liters. Horsepower is expected to reach as high as 450 ponies. And no, we don't expect there to be a manual gearbox on offer. The 10-speed automatic slushbox should come standard.

Of course, Ford knows Bronco Raptor owners fully intend to do some serious off-roading and rock crawling. They'll be extremely well prepared. The suspension, brakes, and numerous other core components have all been enhanced. It's also possible Ford will tempt buyers even more with an optional Warthog Package that could, among other things, bring vinyl seats for easier cleaning post-adventure.

Pricing will also hopefully be announced Monday but we expect it'll exceed the currently most expensive Bronco's $64,000 sticker price. These questions and more should all be answered come early Monday morning. Stay tuned and enjoy your weekend.
