Ford's UK division is offering the 2012 Focus Studio at a more affordable price.
Ford is giving buyers in the UK more options for the upcoming 2012 Focus by confirming the availability of a new entry-level trim called Studio that will be priced at £13,995 when it arrives in September. Ford UK has said that the new Studio will replace the Focus Sport, which is a final special edition of the outgoing model that has been on sale since October 2010. It has since sold over 15,000 units. The Focus Studio features a body-colored rear spoiler, Ford Easy Fuel capless refueling, and Electronic Stability Program.
16-inch alloy wheels round out the exterior of the fuel efficient hatch. The base model of the new Focus will be available as a five-door hatch only and is powered by a 1.6-liter Ti-VCT gasoline engine that gives an output of 83hp and has a combined fuel economy of 47.9 mpg in the UK. Buyers can select from a choice of colors including Frozen White, Panther Black or Moondust Silver.
