About a month ago, a Tesla Model S caught on fire for the first time after striking a metal object on the highway. It was a freak accident and the US government decided it wouldn't investigate further. Now a second Model S has bought the big one in Mexico. The accident happened on October 18 in Merida, which is located in the Yucatan peninsula. The fire supposedly erupted after the driver somehow lost control, crashed into a tree and then a roundabout.

The driver managed to escape without injury, but there's a catch here: the guy was driving under the influence. Tesla is fully aware of the crash and will instigate its own investigation into the incident. In the meantime, check out the video and see the inferno for yourself.
