Sadly, we were wrong to believe that Ford would debut its new Focus RS at last week's Detroit Auto Show. Honestly though, all is forgiven. Why? Because new Ford GT, Shelby GT350R, and F-150 Raptor. That's why. Ford effectively dominated the Motor City. So what about that Focus RS? Have no worries, because it will soon happen. Due to the Focus RS previously being a Europe-only model, sources are now indicating the official debut will be in a little less than two months' time at the Geneva Motor Show.

That actually makes total sense and we wouldn't be surprised to see it reappear at New York in April. Like countless others, we're just anxious to see what could very well be the best hot hatch Ford has ever built. Power is said to come from the Mustang's 2.3-liter EcoBoost four with over 300 hp being sent to all four wheels. Its likely two main targets? The Volkswagen Golf R and Subaru WRX STI. Ford basically opened fire at Detroit and the missiles will continue in Switzerland. And to think, 2015 has only just begun.
