When we first saw Jon Olsson's custom-build Audi R8 our jaws nearly hit the floor. Dubbed the PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR, the professional skier's one-of-a-kind design combines both added power with bare-bones weight for a radical ride sure to intrigue even the most seasoned of drivers. The PPI Audi R8 Razor GTR runs on a 5.2-liter V10 unit enhanced with a Stasis supercharger kit. Total output is measured at a claimed 710 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque.

Tuning firm PPI added plenty of carbon fiber components and replaced many of the stock materials with similarly lightweight materials. An example here is the carbon fiber widebody kit that has an astonishing curb weight of only around 1,320lbs - over 550lbs less than the R8's stock body. Olsson posted a sales pitch on his blog regarding the unique build, saying "If you are looking for the baddest R8 in the world, just shoot me an e mail at olsson99@gmail.com to get all the specs and let's go from there. I have invested about €300,000 on this car (not including the car) so every little bit of this car is as good as it can get!"

Though stripped-out and designed solely for the reduction of weight and improved performance, Olsson's hypercar still packs plenty of luxury in the interior. The skier initially didn't want to depart with his excellent Audi, however he misses the process of building a custom supercar. After a few laps on the Ascari track he realized he wants to go back to the drawing board with a clean slate to create something even more ludicrous and, to do that, he felt he first must let go of his current preoccupation.
