Natural aspiration and a three-pedal manual.
If you asked a bunch of really hardcore Porsche fans to imagine the ultimate 911, it is very likely that they would just imagine a Type 997 911 GT3 RS 4.0. The car had very little that wasn't necessary to make it street legal. There was a bigger, more powerful naturally-aspirated flat-six in the back, and no paddles on the steering wheel. So here is an onboard video of one going around the Nurburgring, because that is the car's natural habitat.
It remains to be seen what will happen with the Type 991 GT3 RS, but this could be the last great 911 in the eyes of the purists.
