We all know, from an objective standpoint, that motorcycle racing is a pretty crazy thing to do. There is no safety equipment to speak of, save what you wear, and you’re traveling at speeds where race car drivers get roll cages and all manner of other energy-absorbing design features. But sometimes the full scale of this is difficult to understand. So we give you the following video: lap 3 of the 2013 Monster Energy Supersport, race 2.

The rider is Michael Dunlop and he is riding a Honda CBR600RR at speeds of upwards of 200 mph. Enjoy the ride.
