Back in the 1960s, Ford and Hertz teamed up to build a limited edition Mustang. This car was dubbed the Shelby GT350-H and featured a distinct, black and gold paint job. You could actually rent one of these cars, race it on the track, then take it back. Now, Ford and Hertz have teamed up again to create the Shelby GT-H. Like the original, the car will be painted black and gold but will now feature Hertz Edition emblems on the front fenders, and a Shelby-designed body kit with a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, and spoiler.

The Shelby GT-H will come with 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 with 435 horsepower and 395 ft-lb of torque. The transmission is still unconfirmed, but a new exhaust and stiffer suspension will be included. Only 140 examples of the GT-H will be built by Shelby in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can rent one through the Hertz Adrenaline Collection starting on Memorial Day Weekend at select airport locations. If you want the chance to drive a rare, badass Mustang, get yourself to the nearest Hertz location.
