Up for auction on May 17 in Monaco.
The only one of its kind ever built, this Ferrari 575 GTZ was commissioned in 2006 by Ferrari enthusiast and collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi and presented at the ’06 Geneva Motor Show. It was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the epic 250 GT and designed as a modern take on the 250 GT Berlinetta Zagato. With a “double bubble” roof and two-tone paint scheme, the 575 GTZ was based on the Ferrari 575 and also shared its massive 5.7-liter, V-12 engine.
The car was rated at 508 horsepower and delivered 0-62mph times of just 4.2-seconds, topping out at 202mph. With only one ever built, it is expected to be quite a hit when it crosses the block in Monaco on May 17th. Check out the full lot listing here.
