With the New York Auto show just under a month away, the city's Detroit-wannabe is looking to boost its standing by attracting additional debuts and new unveilings from major manufacturers. Currently, these are the top coming attractions we're expecting for the Big Apple: Nissan will unveil its new Murano crossover, which should be heavily-based on the Resonance we've seen before. Also, Audi has promised a shooting brake showcar based on the previous Allroad concept.

Mercedes-Benz will add AMG models to two previously unveiled models: the S Class Coupe and the C Class sedan. Also from Germany, there will be American debuts for the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe and BMW X5 eDrive hybrid, in addition to the world debut of the X3 facelift, the X4 crossover and possible the M4 convertible. Also expected at the show are the new Hyundai Sonata, 2015 Subaru Outback and the Kia Sedona Minivan. Marking 50 years since the 1964 debut of the Mustang at this show, Ford will be going Mustang crazy, possibly leaking more details about the upcoming 2016 GT350. Stay tuned for more news before the show.
