The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe debuted this week at Masterpiece London. The attention to detail and posh clever components of the Phantom Drophead immediately have you saying to yourself "I knew the glove box should have been a jewelry box all along." Built in Goodwood, England, the Phantom was designed for the 'perfect weekend get-away'. What sets the Phantom apart are all the acoutrements that come with it.
Features include teak decking with mother-of-pearl inlays in the wooden veneer, engraved tread plates, rotary controllers, a clock finished in mother-of-pearl, and the aforementioned one-of-a-kind built-in Asprey jewelry box. The Phantom also comes with a trunk full of bespoke custom luggage. The rear-wheel-drive Phantom Drophead features the base model's 6.75-liter V12, which produces 453hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. Painted a regal Mazarine Blue, the interior is a Seashell color with Navy Blue contrasts for the floor and door panels.
"Craftsmanship and attention to detail shine through in features developed at Goodwood and in partnership with Asprey. It's a model that demonstrates the breadth of our bespoke offering, where the only limit to what we can deliver is a client's imagination," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO. The attention to detail is further exemplefied by the embroidered R-R logos in the headrests give it that Rolls-Royce elegant look. The standard Phantom Drophead retails at $447,000, however this one-off special edition should go for much more.
