Some of the greatest JDM sports cars ever made are now allowed to be imported into the USA, with the top examples going to exclusive collectors, museums, and hobbyists with deep pockets. This influx of imports has also seen the value of these cars skyrocket: cars such as the Nissan Skyline GT-R are reaching silly prices, and even the smaller naturally-aspirated Honda Type-R models are selling for much more than their modern contemporaries. We've covered a few JDM gems being sold on Bring A Trailer before, but this eleven-car collection, curated by The Cultivated Collector, an enthusiast-focused dealership based in New Canaan, Connecticut, is something else and brings together some of our favorite Japanese cars ever.

Standout cars include the 1996 Honda Integra Type-R that features a flood of period-correct Mugen parts, including a complete body kit with a massive wing and bold front bumper. This iconic Honda shows just 24,700 km (15,348 miles) on the odometer. The other Honda in the collection is a 1993 NSX-R with 40,389 miles on the clock. This ultra-rare NSX is one of only 483 cars finished in Brooklands Green and is absolutely mouth-watering to look at.

The big ticket items include a 1994 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR VSpec II N1 with chassis number 35 of 63 and an unmolested 1994 Toyota Supra RZ in Silver Metallic paint. The other rare Nissan on offer is a 1990 Pulsar GTI-R; number 13 of 21 made, and formerly owned by the CEO of Nissan.

Rally fans will be glad to know that there is some serious JDM rally pedigree on offer too. A 1994 Subaru Impreza STI wagon (number 22 of only 200 made) caught our eye, as did a 1994 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II GSR with less than 10,000 miles on the clock. The Palma Red Evolution IV GSR is also a serious looker.

The collection also includes some rare oddities. Our favorite is the 1995 Toyota Century LWB, a luxury JDM limousine for the man or woman who wants more from life. Or what about the cute little 1992 Mazda Autozam AZ-1 that looks like something out of an episode of the Jetsons? The one thing every car in this collection has in common is that they are all best of breed, and we'll give a left nut for any of them. The Cultivated Collector is yet to announce a date for the auction, but we'll be here to cover it once it goes down.
