Camilo Pardo is the designer behind the first generation Ford GT, built from 2005 until 2006. A little over a year ago, Pardo and his one-off "Solar 7" 2005 Ford GT were featured in a Petrolicious video and, needless to say, we wanted that car. And then, by chance, Pardo sold it for a cool $360,000. But now it's up for sale again, this time on eBay Motors with an asking price of just under $450,000, or best offer. Area 51 Motorsports in Beaumont, Texas, is the seller and the car comes with a clean title.

What's more, the sale even includes the Pardo-signed open title from the previous purchase, meaning whoever bought it never registered it in their name. During his time at Ford, Pardo was the head of its "Living Legends" studio, and he was given credit as the 2005 GT's chief designer. Over the years, Pardo has owned seven GTs, and each one was given its own unique touch. The result was the "Signature Series" of one-off custom Ford GTs. Solar 7 features a custom paint job, a performance exhaust system, and no rear bumper. The mid-mounted supercharged 5.4-liter V8 was upgraded from 550 hp to 650 hp.

Pardo was not the car's first owner, but he did add some 10,000 miles (15,598 miles total) to its odometer after driving it around the US to various shows, rallies, and other exclusive events. Along with Pardo, Peter Brock, Bob Bondurant, Dan Gurney, and David Hobbs all signed the car. We previously predicted that first generation Ford GTs are likely to appreciate in the coming years, so half a million bucks for this one-off GT with a famous past owner doesn't sound so bad.
