One-Off Ram Concept Is A Texas Ranger Lovefest

Truck

Could enter production.

The Ram Texas Ranger concept has nothing to do with baseball. Unveiled at the Dallas auto show, instead the one-off pickup highlights Ram’s partnership with the Texas law-enforcement agency and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum. Finished in Bright White and Bright Silver Metallic paint (think white hats, silver badges), the Ram 1500 is officially a concept but has every chance of making production.

If it does, we’d hope the awesome Texas Ranger motifs and badges, including four real Mexican five-peso coins from which the original star-and-wheel shape badges were tooled, remain. Featuring on the 20-inch chrome rims, tailgate, and embossed on the brown-and-tan leather interior, the Texas Ranger badges are the most obvious changes to the one-off. Other unique touches include a vault that sits in the center console and a cool distressed-finish Ram badge on the steering wheel.
