One Phone You Can’t Drop: Diamond-Made Lamborghini Cell

Offbeat

Tonino Lamborghini introduces a cell phone made from diamonds and gold. Paris Hilton and P. Diddy will likely want one.

In honor of Tonino Lamborghini's 30th anniversary of its Fashion and Accessories division, the Italian automaker is launching the lavish Spyder Supreme Diamond cell phone. The exclusive Spyder includes 7.8 carats of American diamonds and features the Raging Bull icon decked out in 18-carat gold. The 316L stainless-steel black case is decorated in a pearl-white alligator-patterned leather.

The anti-scratch sapphire crystal screen displays a 2-inch LCD screen with 240x320 pixels resolution and features a 3.0 Megapixel camera with auto-focus and 4GB external memory support. The Spyder phone even has an SOS signal button to push in case of emergencies, like when your loved one finds out how much you paid for a cell phone. There will be only 300 Spyder Supreme Diamond cell phones available for pre-order in Beijing, Macau, Tianjin and Hong Kong. It carries a very reasonable price tag of "only" $36,900, but in case you wanted the "less expensive" versions, the S-660 will set you back $16,400 and the S-650 at $10,000.
