This is the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster, easily one of the coolest cars that money can buy. It's also one of the rarest around, with only 26 ever built. As you might have guessed the roadster is even rarer, with only six examples existing. The CLK GTR is basically a GT car slightly modified for the road. It boasts a mid-mounted 6.9-liter V12 good for 604 horsepower and 572 lb-ft of torque. All that power equals a 0 to 62 time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.

This CLK GTR Roadster is a 1999 model and looks especially stunning in black. What's even more stunning is that it has been kept off the road and track by its owner, a Dutch collector who purchased it solely as an investment. That looks like a smart move as it's expected to fetch between $2.2 and $2.8 million when it goes up for auction at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale. There's only one photo available of the CLK GTR Roadster up for auction, but luckily a silver version was up for sale in the US a few years ago.
